The impact of your giving

Thanks to generous donor support, the Endeavor Health Community Health
Center in Evanston (CHC) is able to provide widespread access to compassionate care to all — including hiring a full-time social worker, ensuring patients have access to the mental health and other wraparound services they need.

With philanthropic support, NorthShore Hospitals help provide a range of programs to help low-income individuals and families in our community. Services include assistance with medical bills for neighbors who are uninsured or underinsured, diabetes education and free care to nearly 1,000 high school students each year.

Thanks to annual support from partners like you, the Kellogg Cancer Center can provide holistic support services ranging from integrative care—treating a patient’s personal and behavioral needs—to financial counselors to help with the costs patients face.

Philanthropic partners like you help fund support services at the Cardiovascular Institute, like medication assistance and weight loss programs. With your support, Endeavor Health can expand these whole-health offerings to include social workers, nurse navigators and others to compassionately guide patients through the realities of chronic disease. Your generous gifts ensure that patients receive the very best heart care today and for generations to come.

I think we are so lucky here at Endeavor Health to be able to see the benefit of philanthropy on a day-to-day level. Everything through our clinical care and being able to provide additional support services to our patients, including things like integrative care and helping them access their appropriate treatment options.”

Poornima Saha, MD, Endeavor Health oncologist

To all our donors, I wish they could meet us, people whose lives they have actually changed. When you give, you are actually saving somebody else’s life by enabling them to receive healthcare. That somebody can impact a whole community. I’m a perfect example of that.”

Bayar Bayarsaikhan, Endeavor Health patient

I think the thing that makes being a resident at the Endeavor Health Community Health Center so special is because you become involved in the community.  You really get involved in people’s care, but also involved in their lives. It’s great to not only learn about medicine during the process but also to become an integral part of the community.”

Michael Magnuson, DO, Endeavor Health resident
