The NorthShore Hospitals Foundation recognized and welcomed donors of estate commitments and other planned gift arrangements to The 1891 Society.
A new recognition society name
Endeavor Health has flourished well beyond its founding. And now, with several long-standing legacy honor society members, we’ve chosen a new name — The Wellspring Society — to reflect our donors’ roles in helping Endeavor Health thrive, from its founding to becoming Illinois’ third largest health system.
These recognized donors, often in lifelong relationships with Endeavor Health physicians and the NorthShore Hospitals Foundation, used legacy giving strategies to express their personal values while advancing the Endeavor Health mission to help everyone in our communities be their best.
Making a lasting impact
The long-term impact of these forward-thinking gestures is immeasurable. Some recent notable medical initiatives include the Scott-Kudrna Fund for Advancing Orthopaedic Medicine, the Selma and Emanuel G. Carton Charitable Fund for neurology, the John L. Patten Charitable Trust for patient care, and the Jean Keitel Cryor Scholarship Fund for the Endeavor Health Nursing Professional Advancement Program (NPAP). Each gift helps shape a better future, ensuring each donor’s values endure.
