The Auxiliary's Summer Soirée

Saturday, June 13
Morgan Manufacturing, 401 N. Morgan, Chicago

6:30 p.m.–Midnight
Raising funds for the Grainger Center for Simulation and Innovation (GCSI)

A different look (no longer a seated, black tie dinner) and exciting new venue will serve as the backdrop for the 2015 Summer Soirée, formerly the Hospitals’ Gala. Dinner and dessert stations, live entertainment, and a wide variety of raffle and auction items will greet the expected 700 guests. Funds raised from the evening will support GCSI, home to two training and research programs based at NorthShore Evanston Hospital that focus on simulation of real hospital situations, interaction and surgeries. Soirée Co-Chair Debbie Hulick, an eight-year ovarian cancer survivor, visited the Grainger Center and was amazed by the state-of-the-art training facility. “To see physicians, EMTs, nurses and students working in the lab on virtual reality simulators made me feel so good about how well-prepared these clinicians would be to care for patients.” Soirée Co-Chair Ashley Blankstein-Delaney, an ovarian cancer survivor of 19 years, said she can’t think of a better way to give back her time than to the hospital system that gave so much to her. Tickets are $300. To register for the event, click here.
