New venue. New date. Same extraordinary event! The Auxiliary’s American Craft Exposition (ACE) is moving to the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe this year and is being held in late September rather than August. This juried exposition and sale of fine craft features one-of-a-kind pieces and uniquely creative artwork from artists from all over the country. In its 31st year, ACE supports pioneering ovarian cancer research at NorthShore. “ACE will continue to be the premier destination for art and craft enthusiasts,” said ACE Co-Chair Debbie Kerr. “Patrons can enjoy a day of meeting the artists behind the beautiful work and purchase one-of-a-kind luxury items while supporting ovarian cancer research, a tremendously important cause in our community.” “The Chicago Botanic Garden is a perfect venue for ACE,” said ACE Co-Chair Liz Dauten. “Guests will have an opportunity to stroll the grounds while enjoying the artists and their work. It’s going to be quite spectacular,” she said. The event begins with a Preview Party on Thursday, September 24, which an estimated 800 guests are expected to attend. Tickets for the Preview Party are $175. The show runs throughout the weekend from Friday, September 25 though Sunday, September 27, with 6,000 attendees expected. General show tickets are priced at $15 for the three-day event. Parking is free for Garden members and NorthShore employees. To register for the event, click here.
