NorthShore Center for Personalized Medicine
Powered by Philanthropy

Medical Director for the NorthShore Center for Personalized Medicine Peter Hulick, MD, MMSc, meets with a patient to discuss genomic results.

The practice of healthcare has always been personal. With just a swab of saliva or a drop of blood, your entire genetic profile can be analyzed to provide insights into what diseases you now have or may have in the future.

These innovations are already in practice at NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) where we have been investing in and working toward this era of personalized medicine for over 20 years. The Center for Personalized Medicine integrates leading-edge scientific and clinical expertise in genomic medicine with NorthShore's long-standing tradition of compassionate clinical care and award-winning leadership in data analytics.

But there is much more to be done.

Government funding for this type of research is on the decline. Private philanthropy is vital to our efforts to expand personalized medicine and ultimately help more patients feel better, faster.

Please make a tax-deductible donation to support the NorthShore Center for Personalized Medicine. Your impact will allow us to:
• Expand the Program for Personalized Cancer Care, using genetic protocols to detect and more effectively treat individual tumors.
• Help more patients receive the safest and most effective medication through our Pharmacogenomics Clinic.
• Enhance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular conditions.
• Identify genetic risk factors to delay or even prevent Alzheimer’s disease.
• Educate patients on personalized medicine and expanding leading-edge research.

Your donation, no matter the size, will help build on our momentum in translating research to better care for you and for generations to come. Please don't wait—your support is critical.
