“AUX WALKX” – Auxiliary Fundraising Walk

Throughout the year, Auxiliary members will be raising money for NorthShore by walking, running, playing tennis, working out, or raking leaves. They will set their own personal goals (steps per day or miles or minutes), and choose their own donation levels. Because of Covid-19 health restrictions, Auxiliary members will be on their own or in small socially-distanced groups.

Proceeds from “AUX WALKX” will fund The Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship Program. Each year, The Auxiliary awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors accepted into a college nursing program. The current nursing shortage has been well documented, both nationally and regionally. NorthShore and The Auxiliary are committed to the future of healthcare, and we are proud to support local high school students pursuing a college degree in nursing

September 20-26, 2021

One of the country’s premier fine craft shows, the 37th American Craft Exposition (ACE) will take place September 20-26, 2021 virtually. ACE, presented by The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem, brings together over 100 superior artisans exhibiting one-of-a-kind pieces, luxury collections and uniquely creative, museum-quality artwork.

This important art event is also a major fundraiser supporting research and care at NorthShore. ACE 2021 supports an initiative called SAVE MOMS, which uses NorthShore’s electronic health record to continuously track maternal health and alert the healthcare team before, during and after delivery to avoid serious complications through timely intervention.
