Making High-Risk Testing More Affordable

The 2nd Annual “Jammin’ in Our Genes” benefit was held on Saturday, December 2 to help provide financial support to make testing more affordable for high-risk breast and ovarian cancer patients. Over 350 guests raised funds in support of Pre-Vivor resources through NorthShore’s Living in the Future (LIFE) Cancer Survivorship Program. The benefit raised $40,000 and was sponsored by the Myra Rubenstein Weis (MRW) Leadership Board at NorthShore.

The Board’s goal is to educate and empower people to make informed decisions that can prevent hereditary breast and ovarian cancers. To learn more about testing, click here or view educational resources here.
