Support Thoracic Oncology Research at NorthShore
Lung cancer is the most fatal cancer for both men and women in the United States. It causes more deaths than colorectal, breast and prostate cancers combined. Lung cancer is so deadly—it is remarkably difficult to detect in its early stages. It can be caused by environmental exposures such as tobacco smoke or genetic changes inherited at birth, or it can arise as a result of errors in cell division.
Clinical and translational research are key to our ability to improve outcomes and detect lung cancer earlier. Your gift will to support the lung cancer research efforts led by Thomas Hensing, MD at NorthShore University HealthSystem Kellogg Cancer Center.
Thank you for supporting NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center with an online gift. NorthShore is a 501(c)(3) non-profit; therefore, all gifts are tax-deductible according to law.
